My vision
My medical practice is based on the principle of actively maintaining health rather than merely treating illness. Our skin is a reflection of our overall lifestyle—which is why prevention plays a central role in dermatology. It is important to me to provide holistic care to patients, to identify symptoms early on, and to treat them effectively in order to improve their quality of life in the long term.
Dermatology/surgery with passion
I find dermatology particularly fascinating because of its enormous scope and complexity. Hardly any other medical specialty brings together acute emergencies, chronic conditions, and aesthetic concerns in such a direct way. The skin is not only our largest organ, but it is also directly accessible—which facilitates both diagnosis and treatment. Visual findings, histological evaluations, and minor surgical procedures complement each other perfectly in this context. I particularly appreciate the fact that many dermatological conditions can be visibly and lastingly improved with targeted treatment. At the same time, the field offers fascinating insights into immunological, genetic, and environmental relationships. For me, dermatology is therefore the perfect combination of clinical practice, scientific curiosity, and immediately visible benefits for patients.
