Injection lipolysis is a minimally invasive treatment for removing small to moderate fat deposits on the face (e.g., double chin) and on the body (upper arms, legs, hips, and, in some cases, the abdomen). Unlike liposuction, treatment with fat-dissolving injections does not require anesthesia.

Unwanted fat can accumulate in the chin area (the so-called double chin) or in areas such as the inner arms or legs. These stubborn, localized fat deposits often resist diet and exercise. Such unwanted fat deposits can be treated with what is known as a fat-dissolving injection.
