Breast surgery (mammaplasty)

Most women wish to have natural-looking breasts that compliment their figure. In a consultation, the new breast size and shape are discussed in detail.

For breast augmentation, we use modern, high-quality breast implants. The chemical composition of three-dimensional cross-linked silicone prevents them from leaking. In addition, they give the breast more volume and firmness and remain soft to the touch.

Breast augmentation is performed under general anaesthesia in our day clinic. It requires a skin incision, usually in the fold below the breast. The implant is inserted through this incision and, depending on the condition and amount of breast tissue, placed either above or below the pectoral muscle. The wound is closed and the skin sutured with absorbable sutures.

After the operation, you will remain in our clinic for at least six hours for monitoring, after which you may be collected. The first check-up will take place the next day. In the following weeks, you will wear a supportive sports bra to immobilise the area. It is equally important that you care for your scars correctly during the next few months.
