Breast Augmentation Near Zurich: The Surgical Procedure
Breast augmentation is performed under general anesthesia at our outpatient clinic. It typically requires an incision in the crease beneath the breast. The implant is inserted through this incision and, depending on the nature and amount of breast tissue, placed either above or below the pectoral muscle. The wound is closed and the skin sutured using absorbable sutures.
Postoperative Care Recommendations Following Breast Surgery
After the operation, you will remain under observation for at least 6 hours in our clinic, after which you may be collected. The first check takes place the next day. In the coming weeks, wear a supportive sports bra to keep the area immobilized. Proper scar care over the next few months is just as important.
