Psoriasis (psoriasis)

Psoriasis is a chronic, inflammatory skin disease.

Psoriasis - Symptoms and Treatment

It is characterized primarily by severely scaly patches of skin ranging in size from pinpoint spots to the size of the palm of the hand (often on the knees, elbows, and scalp)—frequently accompanied by severe itching—as well as changes in the nails. Other parts of the body (especially the joints) can also be affected by psoriasis.

Psoriasis can have a significant impact on the lives of those affected. There are currently several treatment options available. Patients must always be assessed and treated on a case-by-case basis. UV light therapy has proven effective for extensive psoriasis. The clinic is equipped with the latest devices that use narrow-spectrum UVB light.

We also offer the latest systemic treatment options (treatments with biologics).
