Dermatosurgery
Dermatosurgery is a sub-specialty of dermatology that deals with the surgical treatment of skin tumours/skin cancer as well as aesthetic surgery.
At the Dermis Skin Clinic, we offer the entire spectrum of dermatosurgical procedures. Outpatient procedures can be performed in our certified operating theatre room 1 under local anaesthesia or, if desired, under twilight sleep.
Skin cancer
Skin cancer is a common problem in Switzerland. A rough distinction is made between two types – non-melanoma and melanoma skin cancer.
Cysts (scalp and body)
Cysts (epidermoid cysts or trichillemal cysts) are skin-coloured, can vary in size and can be up to about 5 cm in diameter.
